Update from Tony Kennedy, OBHC President, on recent tornado in Moore:
Thank you for your prayers and concern. We have sustained some damage at our Children’s Home in south Oklahoma City. As of now we do not have power on the campus, therefore telephone service is non-existent this morning. It was midnight before all of our children were safely back on our campus last night, but all are now accounted for and safe. We have much to be grateful for and to praise God for his protective hand on our children and staff.
Please pray that OBHC will be an example and a resource to our community as we continue to help with recovery efforts. Thank you for your prayers on behalf of those who lost loved ones and as they continue to search for those missing. Please continue to pray for the thousands of people who have lost family, their homes, and all of their earthly possessions.
The weather forecast is still uneasy with expected storms moving into the state this morning. Oklahoma City and Moore are experiencing additional rain this morning.
I appreciate all of your emails and your kind words of encouragement.
