Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children held its 19th annual Back-to-School Style Show and Brunch on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.

About the Style Show

As always, our residents loved “showing off” their new clothes and about 1400 people enjoyed cheering them on. The “Children of the King” theme was a lot of fun and many of our friends came out to join us for a great time.

All Style Show proceeds benefit the children of our Owasso campus. Funds are used for school and church clothes. Any funds raised beyond what is needed to purchase clothing is used for other basic needs of the children.

Paper Dolls

Sponsoring a child through our paper doll project is a great way to help. A small group such as a Sunday school class, WMU, or community group may “outfit” a child for $200.00. The paper dolls are a great visual aid to assist in charting your group’s progress. Some churches have elected to use the paper doll project for a mission project. Contact Donna Brooks for more information.

Thanks for coming and watching our children show off their style!

The style show has become a significant event in the life of our campus. New clothes are just a part of what our children receive. Your involvement helps them know they are loved by many. Thank you for caring and helping meet the needs of the children of OBHC. The silent auction was once again a lot of fun. Many thanks to all who made it a great success.

We hope to see you next year for our 20th Annual Style Show!
