Foster Care Ministries is working with churches across the state to partner with the foster care community and provide a supportive network.

Foster Care Ministries does this by:

  • Providing recertification training opportunities
  • Helping foster/adoptive families to connect with support groups in their communities
  • Connecting churches to the foster/adoptive community
  • Recruiting foster and adoptive families

Approved Training Opportunities

Foster Care Ministries partners with local churches to offer recertification training events throughout the state, free of charge.

Lending Library

The Foster Care Ministries office has a lending library of DVD studies, books and other resources that have been approved by DHS for re-certification training hours and personal growth. For inquiries, please contact Gerald Peters at 405.640.0622.
