Women of Compassion started in 2014 to bring women from all backgrounds together for one act of compassion to benefit Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children (OBHC). Since its inception, Women of Compassion has given over $2.4 million to impact the ministries of OBHC! You have remained faithful throughout the years and we thank you.
2024 Grant Recipients
The 2024 Cups of Kindness Event, held in Tulsa on Saturday, April 6, was a wonderful success! Attendees enjoyed special music by The Andrews Family and an inspiring message from LeAnne Taylor.
Thanks to a record membership of 373 women, OBHC was greatly blessed with $375,000 in grants that will benefit all areas of the ministry. Because of the generosity and compassion of these women the following 2024 grants were awarded.
- Hope Pregnancy Centers received a $75,000 grant and will help provide new furnishings for the new Tulsa center, replace Trophon machines in two centers and provide billboards for one year of advertising Abortion Pill Reversal services.
- Baptist Children’s Home, Owasso received a $75,000 grant and will resurface the community pool and outdoor recreation court. Any remaining funds will be allocated to address irrigation concerns on the campus.
- The Vine, Oklahoma City received a $75,000 grant and will install beautiful black ornamental fencing at each of the homes on campus.
- OBHC received a $75,000 grant to support all ministries.
